Great City Mississippi Foundation brought some of the nation’s top thought leaders to Jackson today for its inaugural summit. Over one hundred community leaders from across the city attended the event at The Railroad District, to learn and dream about ways to continue to serve Jackson.

The Great City Mississippi Foundation applauds passage of the Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development (THUD) Appropriations Act as part of a six-bill appropriations package cleared by the U.S. Congress on Friday, March 8th.

Recently passed legislation has allocated $250,000 for the continuation of the Museum Trail further into Downtown Jackson. The Museum Trail was also the 2023 Reconnecting Communities and Neighborhoods Grant Awardee for Connecting the Museum Trail through Downtown and West Jackson.
